• Taħt temperatura għolja jew kundizzjonijiet korrużivi, reżistenti għal temperatura għolja korrispondenti jew
Għandu jintgħażel ċilindru reżistenti għall-korrużjoni.
• F'ambjenti b'umdità għolja, ħafna trab, jew preżenza ta' qtar ta' ilma, trab taż-żejt, u gagazza tal-iwweldjar, għandhom jittieħdu miżuri protettivi xierqa għaċ-ċilindru.
•Qabel ma ċ-ċilindru jkun imqabbad mal-pajp, il-ħmieġ ġewwa l-pajp irid jitnaddaf biex jipprevjeni li oġġetti barranin jidħlu fiċ-ċilindru.
• Il-mezz użat fiċ-ċilindru għandu jiġi ffiltrat permezz ta' element tal-filtru b'daqs tal-pori iżgħar minn 40µm qabel l-użu.
