Installatio et Usus (Ad Usum Generalem)
· Cum onus inter operationem mutatur, cylindrus cum vi output ampla eligendus est.
Sub condicionibus altae temperaturae vel corrosionis, cylindrus congruens, altae temperaturae resistens vel corrosioni resistens, eligendus est.
In ambitu cum magna humiditate, multum pulveris, aut praesentia guttarum aquae, pulveris olei, et scoriarum soldadurae, congruae mensurae tutelae pro cylindro adhibendae sunt.
In ambitu temperaturae humilis, mensurae contra congelationem adhibendae sunt ne aqua in systemate congeleat.
Quia operculum anterius et piston cylindri relative brevia sunt, ictus plerumque non nimis magnus esse debet.
· Si cylindrus disiunctus est et diu non in usu est, cura adhibenda est ad rubiginem superficialem prohibendam, opercula pulveris resistentia portubus admissionis et exhaustionis addenda sunt, et peculiaris cura adhibenda est: opercula anteriora et posteriora ab usore per se disiungi non possunt.
Antequam cylindrus fistulae coniungatur, sordes intra fistulam purgandae sunt ne res externae in cylindrum ingrediantur.
Medium in cylindro adhibitum per elementum filtratorium cuius pori sunt minores quam 40 µm ante usum filtrandum est.
Dum cylindrus operatur, onera lateralia valorem permissum non excedere debent, ut vita normalis operandi cylindri servetur.
· Anulum retinaculum formae C collocandum et removendum: 1. Dum disiungis et compones, forcipe idoneo (instrumento ad anulum retinaculum formae C collocandum) utere ut eadem pars aperta sit, ne anulus retinaculum formae C evolaret et damnum corpori humano vel machinis circumstantibus inferret.
· Fac ut anulus retinens formae C in sulco anuli corporis insertus sit antequam ventilari possit.
