The FPC Series threaded straight through fittings are designed to
streamline pneumatic tubing connections through a combination of
user-friendly installation features and robust sealing mechanisms.
These fittings prioritize ease of use without compromising the
integrity of the connection under typical industrial operating
conditions.
A quick-lock mechanism serves as the primary interface for tube
insertion and removal. When the tubing is inserted, an internal
gripping component automatically engages, securing the tube without
requiring any additional tightening or manipulation. Disassembly is
equally straightforward, accomplished by pressing the locking sleeve
inward while withdrawing the tubing. This operation can be performed
using only one hand and requires no specialized tools, reducing
assembly time and simplifying maintenance procedures where tubing
replacement or rerouting may be necessary.
Thread sealing has been addressed through pre-application of
sealant on the threaded portions of the fitting body. This
eliminates the need for installers to wrap Teflon tape or apply
liquid sealant during assembly, reducing variability in installation
quality and decreasing the risk of leaks due to improper sealing
technique. For the smaller M5 thread size, a sealing gasket is
provided as standard, offering an additional layer of leak
prevention suited to the dimensional constraints of miniature
fittings.
The tube retention and sealing system employs a dual-element design
to maintain connection integrity under various operating conditions.
An O-ring provides the primary seal around the tube exterior,
preventing air leakage along the interface between the tube outer
wall and the fitting body. A stainless steel snap ring functions as
the mechanical retention element, engaging with the tube surface to
resist pullout forces. This combination of sealing and gripping
elements helps prevent tube detachment even in applications subject
to vibration or pressure fluctuations, while maintaining leak-free
performance over extended service periods.
The straight through configuration permits flow in either direction
with minimal pressure drop, as the internal passage maintains
consistent diameter without abrupt changes or restrictions. This
design characteristic suits applications where maintaining flow
efficiency is a consideration. The threaded connection interface
accommodates standard port configurations, allowing integration with
common pneumatic components without requiring adapters.
The FPC Series construction materials are selected to resist
corrosion and wear in typical industrial environments, contributing

combination of tool-free tube handling, pre-sealed threads, and
