Detailed description
The FKSH Series straight-connection joint features a straight-through rotating structure that combines an external thread on one side with a quick-connect straight-through fitting on the other. The rotating design supports continuous 360-degree rotation, allowing the joint to accommodate dynamic piping applications where movement, articulation, or reorientation is required during operation.
The quick-connect locking mechanism enables one-button insertion and removal of tubing. When the air tube is inserted, it locks automatically into place without requiring additional tools or manual fastening. When disconnection is needed, pressing the release button allows for straightforward removal, simplifying maintenance and reconfiguration tasks.
Low torque rotation is achieved through the integration of internal bearings and rotary seals. This construction helps reduce rotational resistance, making the joint suitable for applications involving high-speed or high-frequency oscillation. The smooth rotational motion helps minimize mechanical stress on connected tubing and adjacent components, contributing to consistent performance in dynamic environments.
The external thread end is available in both metric and imperial thread sizes, including M5, M6, 1/8 inch, and 1/4 inch, providing compatibility with a range of pneumatic ports. For R-thread configurations, sealant is applied as standard to help ensure a reliable seal without the need for additional sealing materials during installation.
A copper-proof design is incorporated through electroless nickel plating applied to both the body and the threaded portions. This finish helps prevent copper exposure, making the joint suitable for environments where copper-free conditions are required, such as in certain electronic component manufacturing or cleanroom applications. The plating also provides corrosion resistance and contributes to the overall durability of the component.
