The sealing element combines stainless steel with a double-sided NBR composite gasket, creating a configuration that maintains sealing integrity across various thread types including Rc, G, and NPT internal threads. This design effectively compensates for variations in thread tolerances or chamfer differences that might otherwise compromise the seal, reducing the need for installers to apply supplemental sealants or torque to inconsistent specifications.
Pressure adaptability across a wide range is a notable characteristic of this series. The fittings function reliably from negative pressure conditions down to -100 kPa up to positive pressures of 1.0 MPa, which corresponds to approximately 10 bar. This broad operating range accommodates applications spanning low vacuum systems through standard industrial pneumatic circuits without requiring different fitting specifications for different pressure regimes.
Tube handling has been simplified through a one-button insertion and removal mechanism. When tubing is inserted, the internal gripping elements engage with minimal resistance, requiring little force to complete the connection.
