Detailed description
The FAW1000~5000 Series Filtering and Pressure Relief Valve combines two essential air preparation functions—filtration and pressure regulation—into a single, integrated unit. This consolidated design reduces the number of separate components and pipeline connections required in a typical pneumatic layout, which in turn helps minimize potential leak points and simplifies system assembly. By occupying less space than individual components arranged separately, the unit also supports more compact equipment designs, particularly in applications where panel or enclosure space is limited.
The series is offered in mini, standard, and large-diameter versions, with port sizes ranging from 1/8 inch to 2 inches. This range of configurations allows the unit to accommodate varying flow demands, from smaller-scale machinery to larger industrial systems with higher air consumption, ensuring that users can select a model suited to their specific operating conditions.
Precision is maintained through both the filtration and regulation functions. The integrated filter provides a filtration accuracy of 5μm, effectively removing solid particulates from compressed air to help protect downstream components. The pressure regulating valve is designed to maintain a pressure deviation of ≤0.005MPa, contributing to stable output pressure even under fluctuating inlet conditions. This level of consistency supports applications where steady pneumatic performance is required.
Durability is supported by the choice of materials. The housing is constructed from aluminum alloy with an anti-static coating, offering resistance to corrosion and helping to ensure reliable operation in industrial environments. The polycarbonate bowl is fitted with an explosion-proof cover, which helps contain fragments in the unlikely event of breakage while still allowing visibility for monitoring purposes.
Maintenance has been simplified to reduce downtime. The transparent bowl allows operators to visually check for accumulated impurities without disassembly. Drainage options include both manual and automatic versions to accommodate different operational preferences, and the filter cartridge can be removed and replaced quickly without the need to replace the entire assembly.
