The FASV120F and FASV220F series are quick exhaust valves that integrate a throttle muffler into an elbow-type design. This configuration differs from T-type models such as the 310F and 410F, offering a form factor that closely resembles standard speed control valves. The elbow structure allows for more efficient use of space during installation, making it suitable for applications where compact layouts are required and clearance for additional components is limited.
Connection is simplified through a combination of a quick-connect fitting on one end and an external thread on the other. The quick-connect side accepts air hoses in diameters of 4, 6, or 8 millimeters, with a locking mechanism that secures the tube upon insertion. This design allows for straightforward assembly and disassembly without the need for specialized tools, reducing installation time and simplifying maintenance tasks. The opposite end is threaded in M3 or M5 sizes, providing compatibility with standard pneumatic ports.
The valve incorporates a built-in muffler along with a throttle needle valve, combining exhaust throttling, noise reduction, and rapid exhaust functions into a single unit. This integrated approach eliminates the need for an external muffler, reducing the number of components required in the circuit and helping to conserve space.
