Detailed description
The FAKH Series straight-connection type is designed with a straight-through structure that maintains an unobstructed flow path. Two configurations are available: the AKH-00 type features quick-connect fittings at both ends, while the AKH-A type combines a quick-connect fitting on one side with an external thread on the other. Both variants ensure a direct connection without bends, promoting smooth airflow and minimizing pressure loss within the pneumatic circuit.
The quick-connect design simplifies installation and maintenance. Users can insert the tubing until it locks into place, and disassembly is accomplished with a one-touch action, requiring no tools. This approach reduces the time needed for setup or component replacement, making it suitable for applications where efficient assembly and serviceability are important.
A built-in one-way valve core is incorporated to provide reliable backflow prevention. The valve features low opening pressure, allowing for sensitive response to changes in flow direction while maintaining dependable sealing when reverse flow is not intended. This functionality supports consistent system performance by helping to prevent unintended cylinder movement or pressure loss.
To assist with proper installation, the valve body includes clear markings indicating the direction of airflow. These arrows help reduce the risk of reverse installation, supporting correct orientation during assembly and minimizing potential errors that could affect circuit function.
The body is constructed from brass with a nickel-plated finish, offering resistance to corrosion and oxidation. This material selection contributes to the durability of the valve in environments where exposure to moisture or other corrosive elements may occur. The quick-connect end utilizes an NBR seal, which provides stable sealing performance over repeated connection cycles.
Compact dimensions and lightweight construction further enhance the suitability of the FAKH Series for dense tubing installations. For example, the AKH06-00 model weighs approximately five grams, allowing multiple units to be placed in close proximity without adding significant weight or occupying excessive space. This makes the series well suited for use in applications where space constraints and system weight are considerations.
